How the daily puzzle works
Every day at 05:00 UTC a cron job generates a fresh Block Blast starting position seeded from the date, picks three random pieces from our shape library, and runs the full brute-force solver. The result is stored in our database and served here as static content, so the page loads instantly for every visitor. Because the position is deterministic, everyone sees the same puzzle — challenge a friend to beat the recommended score, or try to spot a placement the solver missed.
